I have a question about blood work for lupus? - lupus blood work
I have blood tests for today ... Ana and VSG lupus ... not really sure what the ESE, but said the technician, he had something to do with inflimmation inside ... I want to know what tests to confirm or refute. I have the "mask" and some other symptoms, but in my opinion, there is no 100% test to determine whether lupus.

You're right, not a diagnostic test. Doctors often use a series of tests to make a proposal. CRP, ESR and ANA tests are often - but none is effective paricularly.
ESR (ESR) measures the velocity of red blood cells settle to the bottom of the tube in a centrifuge. When the inflammation is present, bind to proteins in the blood flowing and get hard, so fast, with a high rate. The swelling and inflammation can be for many reasons, despite being shown inflammation can not say why or where. Patients with lupus have an elevated ESR.
Doctors sometimes use CRP (C-reactive protein), as another measure - which is a byproduct of inflammation. Lupus patients with rheumatoid arthritis and vasculitits not always the PCR lifted.
ANA - antinuclear antibodies - produced when the body attacks itself. A normal result is negative. Positive results can be used as lupus, thyroid disease, myositis, and chronic liver diseases, among others. Some people have a postive ANA, without signs or symptoms of diSease. A weak positive or negative result is not good lupus.
My family doctor rarely ANA testing, because you can not draw a conclusion from the results.
So no, the tests can not confirm or exclude a whole. You are a doctor could determine if it is lupus have a positive ANA and high ESR, is very likely to be sufficient. (but as I said before, you may have Lupus with ANA ANA negative and a positive lupus!)
I have lupus. My ANA was weakly positive (what to read to read the doctors rather than negative) and the ESR was raised initially, but has now dropped to normal range.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with lupus. I sometimes have a negative ANA and sometimes have a positive outcome. A blood test is a marker for SLE is a test of double-stranded DNA. Thus, doctors have found that I in any case, that in contrast to other autoimmune diseases. My rheumatologist told me that in extremely rare strain can cause a positive DS DNA, but 99% of the time, is a manufacturer of lupus. You might want to ask your doctor to perform this test, too. Hope this helps! :)
