Vanguard no idea, but I can recommend Lowepro. I think that cover high-rainfall useful.
I use the Lowepro bag swinging on the back quickly if I need the camera, I love it!
I know nothing of Vanguard, too. I have a Lowepro Flipside 200 though. I have no complaints with the action. I have since November last year. Try Lowepro.
