Am I am shape enough to do a 45-mile bike ride at good pace? - workout spin bike torrent

I would like to join a group that will run 45 miles, probably something like an average of 19 or 20 mph in a few days. I think I'm pretty good shape, but I can? To get an idea of my form today, I have an intense exercise bike for an hour and then ran 3 miles in just under 27 minutes. But I can run 3 miles in about 23 minutes. Any fitness expert advice?

If you can run 3 miles in 23 minutes, his body is not a physical problem. It's more a question of attitude. The runner novice thinks slog away as 45 miles long and think they are very demanding, physically experienced rider knows otherwise, but no one needs a little work is excessive. Not only have to carry, but when I'm done, you'll probably find that it is not as difficult as I would think so.

Do you have experience riding with the group? If so, it seems that you can probably do it. I do not recommend you actually familiar with the route for you to find the way home if I still have. In addition, group tours in many flavors. Some have a policy of "no place" or the designation of a street sweeper. For others, each is responsible for himself. You must know the rules in advance.

From what you say, it is obvious that they have never been on a quick tour and the group before you not as far gone so quickly. Be His idea of a "heavy spin" bike program of exercise is not the same as everyone. Running 3 miles in 23 minutes is good, but not translate to the speed of the motorcycle, because muscle is different. More important is the fact that he did not do a quick lap before the group and the intention of the project. I have to travel many groups quickly and so fast and all the world should take a hit on the forehead. Brussels sprouts wheels are allowed, not to return. Leave 20 mph is not something you just go and do if you've never been before. It is sufficient to concentrate a shorter time period and take a group of pilots who carry the potential to make thousands of dollars of damage to bikes and riders. It is time needed to learn to walk in groups and it takes longer to have to learn to walk quickly to a group. You need to start with group rides much slower.

Your fitness level should be sufficient to cover the distance, and you should be able to keep up the pace ~ If the bicycle is a road bike and is as good as they say it is.

Note that exercise bikes are not exactly the same as a rough trip in the real world. Listen to your body when you this trip, and let your stubbornness cause problems. It is better to leave what is to come over their borders.

Is this one weeks holiday? Give it a shot. You will be better if you work there. If this is the first time I tried to go 45 miles at this rate probably time to plan accordingly to be. I make a group trip of 45 miles and Saturday, mostly there are people who could not join at first the entire trip. They point in retirement thanks and head back or completely on their own. It was not long before she could finish the trip with the group. Talk with other drivers when you join. Some of them were probably in the same situation and have good suggestions to stop such work, the virtual tour. Good luck.

Be May in a position to pull this, but not pretty. Your cardiovascular system is probably pretty good, but his legs were not just for this kind of pace. The drives spiders will be useful, but not a perfect substitute for hours on the bike. How do you feel about it if you like and come back soon? 45 miles at this pace is too fast for the experienced rider. If you decide to try to write, to learn quickly and be ready to use gear, you can min in the range of 80-90 rpm to stay. Remember, running uses different muscles.

No, do not worry, you are not very good. In my first big trip we made 52 miles and then I was very impressed, but I did the whole trip and stayed with the kids all the time and an average of about 20 mph do not worry, you're in better shape than me on my first lap. But certainly in great pain, there are big differences in all other physical activities. If not for the first time it hurts, but do not worry GO FOR IT!

Yes you can! Do not just listen to you. You already said that you have followed in decent shape (60 minutes of rotation intensive 3 miles runnign). Nice ......

Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Basically, a person can double the distance on race day, compared to the training. my personal experience in this area was "asking" people (when he was young and naive), if I have a career that was able to finish 100 miles to 40 miles up the ascent height of 8000 feet, including walking through a bear in the area of Los Angeles). After I (I'm not concerned with time, finsihing exactly what I expected) to do that, I promised myself never to the approval of others if I could do something ..... DO IT!

Finally, if you go into the back of the pack and the project (donation, feel worried, take your turn at the front, that comes later), which willl a piece of cake. Leave saves 8-15% of energy ....

Never is 45 miles. If you are not even half of what is done, there's always a first time, go ahead. It is better to do anyway with a group. sounds like a trip very easy in the cold will be good, even if ur nickname Obeast Giant little strange. a little water to eat something if you would stop.


On the other hand, when the journey is a steady climb is too steep, there could be problems. theres always a first time for everything.

I would say that you could do 45 miles without a problem, and perhaps continues at this pace, but when you traveled, as before, you can get over his head. I agree with others, you start in a band, a slow, perhaps around 15 mph and see how you do it. Good luck and have fun!

Edit ... sluck advice is good to stay with him as long as you can and not worry about getting dropped.

At least you have a bike for part of your question again, it seems that you are fit enough to ride a bike 45 miles. When people ask questions here, including the turn, she sounds like one of the skulls to turn into a hippie festival.
